This week in Sketchbook Skool, our homework is to spend hours on a detailed sketch. We were instructed to draw our kitchen. So on Sunday I started doing this in 30 minute increments. I finished it on Tuesday morning, and even took the time to scan the image before posting it here! I really, really loved this homework assignment. This is not the best drawing in the world, and there are a ton of errors with perspective, but damn. I had a lot of fun doing it and I really learned a lot. I also feel like I have found my groove with this whole sketching thing. Maybe the trick for me is to take my time with a drawing and not rush.  I feel like tackling one bit at a time gave me a bit more confidence and made the process less overwhelming.
