I was having trouble coming up with something to draw the other day so I decided to do the drawing prompt for the Sketchbook Skool Drawing A Day group. The prompt was Memory and a lot of people were drawing the memory of their first day of school. I remembered an old photo of me on my first day of school standing in front of a big sunflower with my little brother. So I found the photo and sketched from that. Not exactly a drawing from memory, but whatever. 🙂

For this drawing I used Dr. Martins liquid watercolors. I only bought three primary colors so I would be forced to mix them.  They are totally new to me so there is a learning curve.
