Today I used a photo as a reference to paint from. I thought about the Direct watercolor technique and saw this tree on my run and thought it might be interesting to try to paint. I liked the contrast of the pink flowers against the leaves, so I snapped a photo. It’s not perfect but I like it better than the other paintings so far.

This has been an exhausting couple of days at work so I haven’t had a chance to do my paintings. I might try to catch up over the weekend.
